A table lamp base of bottle shape form with elliptical aperture, the interior is glazed in white slip, the exterior with natural brown clay body deeply carved with naturalistic abstract sea form motifs highlighted with background black glazes.
 
The lamp retains its original light fittings including wire and switch which remains in working order.
 
Marks: Incised with GS monogram and Poole England stamp.
 
Size: 30cm total height (approx 25.5cm to top of base).
 
Date: Circa 1970.
 
Condition: In excellent original condition and in full working order.
