A monumental antique arts and crafts pottery vase decorated with Charles Rennie Mackintosh Glasgow secessionist style roses and stylised plant forms. Beautifully glazed on a mottled blue background, the incised decoration is highlighted in green and earth coloured tones.
 
 
 
It is rare to find an antique Glasgow school Mackintosh design piece on this scale. It is both versatile and highly decorative.
 
 
 
The vase has no manufacturer markings and is likely to be continental in manufacture, c1900.
