A superb Liberty and Co planished copper and sterling silver chalice with cover designed by Oliver Baker and manufactured at the William Hair Haseler workshops in Vyse Street Birmingham c1900.
 
Finely planished from good gauge copper retaining its original deep rich metallic iridescent fumed oxide patina beautifully contrasted with fine sterling silver continuous rope work stringing and cage designs. The interior of the chalice also retains its original silvering to protect its contents.
 
Condition: In excellent untouched original condition retaining its original patina, the lid closes beautifully to the container.
