Magnificent Large Poole Pottery Sun God Charger designed by Tony Morris.

A substantial Poole Pottery 'Sun God' charger designed by Tony Morris and painted by Patricia Wells circa 1965.

The largest size charger Poole produced, the futuristic design features two large stylised 'Sun God' emblems surrounded with numerous stylised horseshoe designs.

The design is skillful and well executed in vibrant colours with 'wax resist' glaze effects highly evocative of 1960s and 1970s design and was probably the most creative period of the Pottery's output.

The charger is a 'tour de force' of Poole Pottery by one of its leading designers and is a highly prized example in completely unblemished original condition.
