A large size Sunflower Pottery Arts and Crafts double gourd form vase by the Elton Pottery.
Decorated with an applied band of slip decoration of berried foliage, the vase has been glazed in blue ochres on a green and blue mottled ground.
Sir Edmund Harry Elton established the Sunflower Pottery, at Clevedon in Somerset 1881 - 1922 and principally sold his Sunflower Pottery & Elton Ware through Liberty & Co and Tiffany of New York.
Marks: Signed Elton to base.

Size: 30.8cm height.
Condition: The vase although in presentable condition but has undergone a repair to the waisted portion of the neck, there is no other damage.
