Glasgow Style Antique Arts and Crafts Brass Jardiniere by Margaret Gilmour.
 
A Scottish Arts and Crafts hand hammered brass jardiniere by Margaret Gilmour with Charles Rennie Mackintosh style Glasgow roses  c1900. 
 
The planter is beautifully repousse decorated with roses, tendril form leaves, foliage and love hearts on ball shape feet set to the base.
 
Considered as one of the “Glasgow Girls”, Margaret Gilmour attended the School of Art from 1877 until 1880. The Gilmour Studio was set up with her 2 sisters at 179 West George St. Glasgow.
 
Condition: In excellent condition with no dents or splits.
