A fine and large example of an antique Arts and Crafts Glasgow School hand hammered brass umbrella stand or vase c.1900 in the Glasgow Style and reminiscent of the work of the Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh, Margaret Gilmour, Marion Henderson Wilson and Talwyn Morris.  
 
A beautiful example of Scottish Arts and Crafts metalwork.  Of pure Glasgow form with two highly stylised elongated and interlaced floral tendrils encirling the main body and rivetted to a beautifully crafted base with rim.  
 
Date: Circa 1900.
