A most beautiful & stylish example of a fine quality Dr Christopher Dresser Minton Pottery vase, Stoke, England, 1901. Large in size with a deep green glaze palette, the intricate and stylised silver Japanese calligraphy plant & pond forms are typical of Dressers avant garde futuristic botanical designs makes this a most special example of his design work; The large vase is finely potted of slightly flattened oval form with intricate intertwined loop handles. It is fully marked to base with Minton as shown with various other design and shape number registrations; 40 cm high.
In superb undamaged and unrestored original condition which is remarkable considering its delicacy and age.
