Christopher Dresser Arts and Crafts Clutha Glass Solifleur Vase
A fine and scarce Dr Christopher Dresser James Couper of Glasgow Clutha glass tall solifluer vase.
The tall slim conical vase with large flat disc rim top is a superb example of geometric Dresser form and avant-garde botanical design.
It is beautifully highlighted and contrasted with gold adventurine streaks and inclusions with subtle white swirls in pale green bubbled glass.
In perfect condition with no issues, the base has been finished off with its typical Couper snapped off pontil mark. A superb example of Dresser design and technical glass blowing.
