A rare planished oval copper & brass Arts and Crafts Birmingham Guild of Handicraft (BGH) oval coal or log bucket or plant holder / jardiniere designed by Arthur Stansfield Dixon.
 
Size: 50.5cm long x 38.5cm wide x 30.5 cm high. 
 
Marks: It has stamped B.G.H. mark to the base.
 
Date: Circa 1905.
 
Condition: In good uncleaned original condition retaining its original patina. There is a concealed minor age fracture to the inside base as shown mentioned for accuracy which has no visual impact or use detriment.
