A very stylish articulated WAS Benson style brass table lamp with its original vaseline glass striped wrythen form shade.
 
Beautifully engineered and based on a Pullman railway carriage lamp, a spherical counterweight is surrounded with tripod legs and claw form feet supporting the main column which is articulated for directional light with a carrying handle and pivot tensioner. 
 
Size: 45.5 cm high fully extended height.
 
Date: c.1900.
 
Condition: In excellent condition with its original switched bulb holder and in full working order, re-wired with black silk braided twist flex ready to use. The vaseline glass lampshade is also in perfect condition.
