Arts and Crafts Alexander Ritchie style silver plate four piece tea service.
 
An outstanding Arts and Crafts Celtic silver plated four piece tea and coffee service profusely decorated with Celtic designs in the style of Iona metalworker Alexander Ritchie.
 
Of exhibition quality and likely to be of Glasgow manufacture, each piece is finely engraved with Celtic entrelac knotwork designs of mythical beasts. The tea and coffee pots are surmounted with Chinese kneeling figures with borders of pierced trellis detailing. 
 
Condition: In outstanding original condition - minor indentation to shoulder of coffee pot as shown mentioned for accuracy, the silver plate is immaculate with no wear whatsoever. The set is truly superb.
