Alexander Ritchie Iona Arts and Crafts Glasgow Style Copper pipe or spoon rack
 
 
 
A rare example of an arts and crafts hand hammered hanging copper pipe or spoon holder/rack by Alexander Ritchie of Iona c. 1900.
 
 
 
Decorated with highly stylised Glasgow plant forms and Celtic revival entrelac knot work, a leaping Griffin and a most endearing Gaelic phrase "cariad dileas" translating to "faithful friend".
