Alexander Ritchie Iona Arts and Crafts Glasgow Style Brass Candle Wall Sconce
A rare example of an arts and crafts hand hammered brass candle wall sconce or candle holder by Alexander Ritchie of Iona c. 1900.
Decorated with a most beautiful stylised Glasgow ‘Tree of Life’ Celtic entrelac knot work.
The sconce has a typical Ritchie form with a curved large lip to the back panel. It retains its original hanging hook to the rear.
