A rare and beautiful example of a Loetz Art Nouveau Phänomen Genre 7966 decor variant PN1-7792 glass vase of cased deep ruby glass with combed silver-yellow threads and metallic blue iridescence.
The vase is of bulbous onion form with wider spacing bands forming "panelled windows" to the wrythen elongated tubular neck similar to designs of Franz Hofstotter.
Marked: Typical Loetz pontil to base.
Size: 10.5cm high.
Date: c. 1900.
Condition: In excellent original condition.
